Fused Mullite Bricks are refractory bricks with mullite as the main crystalline phase, with the advantages of high temperature resistance, resistance to chemical attack, good thermal conductivity, low coefficient of thermal expansion, and ease of molding and installation. Fused mullite bricks are available in various sizes and shapes to meet the specific needs of different industries and we offer customized fused mullite bricks.
High Temperature Resistance
Fused Mullite blocks can withstand temperatures up to 3272°F (1800°C).
Excellent Thermal Shock Resistance
Ambient temperature changes without damage to the mullite blocks, suitable for applications with frequent temperature fluctuations.
High Strength and Abrasion Resistance
The high density and strength of fused mullite bricks result in high resistance to mechanical abrasion.
Good chemical stability
Fused mullite bricks are resistant to most chemicals and can withstand corrosive substances, making them suitable for use in harsh industrial environments.
Low thermal conductivity
The low thermal conductivity of fused mullite bricks means that they can effectively insulate the heat transfer and keep the heat inside the furnace or kiln.
Mullite bricks are used in hot blast furnace hot air pipe overhang and orifice, pipe vertical pipe and higher temperature straight pipe, surrounded and temperature stabilized parts, different areas with different grades of mullite bricks; torpedo tanker by the impact of molten iron parts, slag line area.
Glass ceramics industry
Fused mullite bricks are used in the main body of the glass kiln material channel, heat storage room parts, clarifier pool wall parts; mullite bricks in the ceramic industry kiln production sagger, kiln furniture.
Power industry
Fused mullite bricks are widely used in boilers and flue gas treatment systems of coal-fired power plants. It can withstand high temperature and corrosive flue gas, and effectively discharge pollutants.
Chemical industry
Fused mullite bricks are commonly used in chemical reactors, tanks and pipelines and other equipment lining, resistance to chemical erosion, to ensure safe production.
Building materials industry
Fused mullite bricks can be used for cement, lime rotary kiln lining.
Tunnel Kiln
Fused mullite bricks are widely used in tunnel kilns, due to their excellent refractory properties and thermal conductivity, which can extend the service life of the kiln and improve production efficiency.
