After we received an order for 118 Metric Ton silica mullite bricks, there are six steps to ensure the quality for our customer.
Mixing and Formulation
Well controlled mixing process is essential to achieve the desired composition and homogeneity. We use proportionate blending of raw materials, coupled with stringent quality checks at this stage, guarantees the uniformity required for optimal brick performance.
Molding and Shaping
The molding process demands precision to create bricks with accurate dimensions and structural integrity. We have advanced machinery and skilled operators ensure that the bricks maintain the confirmed shape and density during this phase.
Drying and Firing
Our plant has a whole perfect temperature control system, which can well controll drying and firing processes, through this can critically guarantee removing moisture and enhancing bricks’ strength. With advanced drying and firing equipments, kiln temperature and duration during firing phase are meticulously controlled to achieve the desired properties, such as high-temperature resistance and thermal stability.
Quality Testing and Inspection
Quality test throughout the whole manufacturing process, rigorous quality tests are conducted at various stages. Which can encompass products’ physical properties, chemical composition, thermal conductivity, and resisance to thermal shock. Any deviation from the set standards prompts immediate corrective actions to maintain consistency.
Random Inspection after production completed
After the production is finished, 118MT silicon mullite bricks will be placed in a dedicate warehouse, before packing, our merchandiser will firstly do random inspection on both product quantity and appearance, as this order contain eight different technical types, that is to say, we will selected each type to inspection, the random products number is based on the PCS for each type. The main inspection items include: the appearance, size and quantity if confirmed with the contract.During the test process, we will strictly record each result.
Meantime we will also choose silicon mullite bricks sample to third party inspection agency, to ensure the consistency of chemical test results.
Regarding the packing
To avoid collisions during transportation, our silicon mullite brick is strictly packed according to customers requirements with pallets.
