One of our regular customers recently ordered 100 tons of AZS brick products. The customer’s main business is for the glass industry, which mainly use the AZS refractory materials. In order to produce high quality products on time, we have had a meeting to ensure the execution of the order. After 30 days of unremitting efforts, finally we have finished the production of these fused cast zirconia corundum refractory bricks on time.

Our AZS bricks are made by high purity zircon sand and industrial alumina powder at a ratio of 1:1, adding a small amount of Na2O (added in the form of sodium carbonate), B2O3 (added in the form of boric acid or borax) flux, and mix evenly. Fused-cast bricks containing 33% of ZrO2 are melted at a temperature of 1800~1900℃, and then cast. On this basis, using partially desiliconized zircon sand as raw material, fused-cast bricks containing 36% to 41% of ZrO2 can be produced.
