High Alumina Corner Castables are composed of high alumina aggregate, binder and additives, he is a refractory material used to protect the corners of high temperature equipment such as furnaces, kilns and incinerators.
High alumina corner castables are refractory materials used to protect the corners of high temperature equipment such as furnaces, kilns and incinerators. High-alumina corner castables consist of high-quality raw materials, including high-alumina aggregates, binders and additives. Blast furnace corner castables are customizable, and the proportion of the castables can vary according to the specific application and process.
High-temperature resistance: The maximum use temperature of high alumina corner castables can reach 1450°C, which can maintain stable performance under high temperature environment and effectively prevent the material from performance decay caused by high temperature.
Excellent density: the bulk density of high alumina angle castables in dry state is ≥2.3g/cc, which ensures the material has good heat insulation and refractory strength.
High strength: the cold compression strength of high alumina angle castable is between 400-500kg/cm² at 110°C, and after drying at 1430°C, the strength is further increased to 500-600kg/cm², which fully demonstrates its excellent high-temperature mechanical properties.
Reasonable moisture control: the amount of water required for casting high alumina corner castables is between 9%-11%, which not only ensures good fluidity and construction convenience, but also avoids the adverse effects of excessive moisture.
Precise chemical composition: Al2O3 content of high alumina corner castables is ≥53%, SiO2 content is 36%-38%, TiO2 content is 1.6%-2.0%, Fe2O3 content is 2%, CaO content is 4%-5%, and the total amount of alkali metal oxides (Na2O+K2O+Li2O) is ≤0.5%, which is a unique design of the chemical composition and ensures chemical stability and good performance under high temperature. This unique chemical composition design ensures the chemical stability of the material at high temperature and good performance of fire resistance, wear resistance and thermal shock resistance.
High-alumina corner castables are widely used in metallurgy, chemical industry, electric power, ceramics and other industries in various high-temperature kilns, furnace, flue, hot air ducts and other parts of the lining casting and repair. It is especially suitable for complex working conditions which have high requirements on the strength, refractoriness and thermal shock resistance of refractory materials.
