Magnesium-zirconium bricks are widely used in glass kilns, heat storage chambers, cement kilns, steel furnaces and non-ferrous metal smelting.
Magnesia-zirconia bricks are made of high-purity fused magnesia and synthetic magnesia-zirconia sand, molded at high pressure and fired at high temperature, with excellent resistance to alkali metals, oxides and sulfides. Magnesia-zirconia refractory bricks are characterized by high density (packing density greater than 3.08 g/cm3), which can resist alkaline erosive atmosphere and alkaline slag erosion. Magnesia-zirconia refractory bricks are widely used in glass furnaces, heat storage chambers, cement kilns, steelmaking furnaces and non-ferrous metal smelting.
High heat resistance, high thermal shock stability and high thermal conductivity
Magnesia-zirconia refractory bricks have a high load softening temperature, good thermal shock stability, especially good resistance to alkali vapor permeability, and excellent resistance to repeated coalescence and evaporation damage.
High erosion resistance
Magnesia-zirconia bricks have excellent erosion resistance to alkali metals, oxides and sulfides.
High thermal conductivity
Magnesia-zirconia refractory bricks have good thermal conductivity, which can quickly transfer the required heat to ensure the normal operation of high-temperature devices.
Especially in the heat storage chamber lattice of glass kilns, the use of magnesium-zirconium refractory bricks ensures that the hot spot area of the kiln is short, which saves energy and improves the quality of the glass at the same time.
Iron and steel industry
Magnesia-zirconia bricks are used in the support structure and heat insulation layer of blast furnaces, as well as in various high-temperature flues in the iron and steel industry.
Metallurgical industry
Magnesium-zirconium bricks can also be used in high temperature flues, grate coolers in the metallurgical industry, coke oven doors in the coking industry, sealing hoods of ironmaking blast furnaces, heating hoods and furnace protection.
