Fused silica bricks are high-quality refractory bricks with high-purity silicon dioxide (SiO₂) as the main ingredient.Fireramo’s fused silica bricks have a high SiO₂ content of ≥99%, and the content of impurities is strictly controlled, e.g., Al₂O₃ ≤0.3%, Fe₂O₃ ≤0.3%, CaO ≤0.1%, which ensures the product’s purity and excellent refractory performance.

Characteristics of Fireramo fused silica bricks

Extremely high purity: Nearly full SiO₂ composition ensures that fused silica bricks are chemically stable at high temperatures and do not react with most chemicals.

High density and low porosity: Fireramo’s fused silica bricks have a bulk density of ≥1.85 g/cm³ and an apparent porosity of ≤18%, making the bricks dense, which not only reduces heat conduction losses, but also strengthens resistance to external erosion.

Excellent refractoriness: under 0.6 MPa load, Fireramo’s fused silica bricks have a high refractoriness of ≥1680°C, which is sufficient to meet the challenges of all kinds of extreme high-temperature environments.

Reliable mechanical strength: Cold compression strength of ≥40 MPa ensures that fused silica bricks have excellent compressive and flexural properties at both ambient and elevated temperatures.
