Graphite sagger, also known as graphite crucible, is a box-shaped graphite product precision machined from high-purity graphite, which can be used in the sintering process of positive and negative electrode materials in the lithium battery industry. They are mainly used as containers for carrying powder. If it’s heated in a furnace and used under the protection of an inert gas, it will has a longer service life. Generally, customized bottom plates and covers are provided according to the kiln type and clients’ requirements. Graphite saggers are widely used by high-temperature furnaces companies, especially lithium iron phosphate companies, so that it’s also commonly known as lithium iron phosphate graphite sagger.
It is mainly used for smelting metals and various non-metallic substances, such as lithium battery materials, lithium iron phosphate materials or magnetic materials, etc. It is a kind of graphitized container for lithium battery anode materials.
